Nashville, TN – IMMERSE, the Gospel Music Association’s Music Training Experience, is pleased to announce two new scholarship opportunities including the “Music Makes” scholarships to attend the upcoming IMMERSE event, and a second that will be awarded to three winners who are registered for the reVIEWyou track. As the event nears, more artists are being announced as performers and hosts, creating a one-of-a-kind experience for attendees.
(The Belle Report) - It’s official. Grammy award winning Gospel songstress and winner of Season 3 of Sunday Best Le’Andria Johnson, is now a Pastor Le’Andria. Johnson is set to start her own church in Hapeville, GA.
According to Twitter and Facebook pages associated with the singer and licensed minister, Johnson’s new church, IPC Ministries (Imperfect People Changing The Game) move in date is set for Saturday, June 1, 2013 with the first service to be held on June 16.
According to Leandria’s youtube page her ministry stands for ‘imperfect people changing the game’.
(Forest Park, OH) – May 20, 2013 – This past weekend, Stellar Award winning radio station Yes Lord Radio joined forces with I Hear Music, Inc. to provide exclusive coverage and live streaming during the 12th annual “I Hear Music In The Air” Conference.
The concert, which was held on Friday, May 17th at Word of Deliverance Family Life Center, served as the opening event for the conference and was hosted by Y’Anna Crawley and WGRI’s Carl Behanan. The night was filled with many memorable performances from Fred Hammond & United Tenors, William Murphy, Anita Wilson, J. Moss, 21:O3, Isaac Carree, Javen, and more.
The weekend also included Saturday morning workshops, a teen summit, Urban Soul Café, and the Sunday Legends Ball honoring Richard Smallwood.
For the first time, YLR was a media sponsor for this event, bringing together a huge virtual audience from all over the world who were tuned in to experience the concert in real time. Top cities included Cincinnati, Brooklyn, Chicago, Washington, DC, and Los Angeles. YLR host, Roz, also gave fans a behind the scenes look at the artists. YLR is making plans to stream other events and concerts in the near future.

ATLANTA (May 17, 2013) – Today, Habitat for Humanity is launching a $5 million fundraising initiative to help rebuild homes and communities devastated in the wake of tornadoes that ripped through North Texas on Wednesday. Habitat will assist with clean up, repairs and the construction of as many homes as possible to help families recover from this disaster.
